Homemade Ferreotella Recipe (Nutella/Ferrero Rocher Mix Up)

Love Nutella and Ferrero Rocher love them together, how about a healthy version with no sugar or loads of calories that you can make yourself with only 4 ingredients!
I repeat only 4 ingredients and you can make it at home yourself with very little effort.
I have being making my own Nutella or Ferreotella if you will lol for a year now and my family and friends honestly can't get enough I still buy the odd jar of Nutella every so often but it last ages compared to my homemade Ferotella version.
If you're up for making your own little jar of heaven read on,
ingredients:
350g Peeled and Roasted Hazelnuts ( Go to the end of this post for tips on peeling)
2 1/2 tbs of sunflower oil
a pinch of salt
1 tsp of Vanilla extract
3 tbs of honey
2 tbs of Cacao Powder
method :
1.
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees
and lay the hazelnuts in a single layer on a baking tray. Roast in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes until they're golden and nicely roasted no longer mind as they will burn and ruin your masterpiece.
2. Next add all the roasted nuts to your food processor with 2 tbs of sunflower oil and a pinch of salt.
Then blend until you have a smooth but a chunky buttery texture
this should roughly take about 6 minutes or at least 10 minutes depending on your food processor.
3 Scoop out the hazelnut butter into a mixing bowl and add the honey, vanilla extract and your Cacao powder and mix well until it's all combined.
4. Add your ferreotella to a clean jar and voila you have your own homemade Ferreotella.
Well that's it I hope you found my recipe easy to follow and you will be trying it out for yourself,
this is the start of The Beauty Chest's recipes feature
I will add a new one every month of some of my favorites.
I hope you enjoyed this one

Until next time,

If you're like me and you detest peeling hazelnuts I have the simplest and quite fun solution to the problem.

1. Boil 3 cups of water in a big pot with high sides and when the water has boiled
add 3 tbs of bicarbonate soda the water will foam up so be very careful you don't burn yourself.

2. Add the nut to the boiling water and leave them to boil for 3 minutes max the water will turn black but don't worry it is supposed too, meanwhile prepare a bowl of ice cold water.

3. After the 3 minutes is up take the nuts of the heat. Using a slotted spoon  take the nuts out of the boiling water drain them and add them to the ice cold water.

That's it it really takes the bother out of peeling them for ages
as this literally takes minutes.
