I hope you are all well I'm so sorry I've not posted in ages I've had a really rough couple of weeks.
Get yourself comfy and a cuppa and let me fill you in on what's being happening.
As you all probably know from reading my previous posts I was diagnosed in January with Coeliac disease and very recently I was glutened when I attended an event a couple of weeks ago.
I won't say where as I don't want to get sued lol but if you want to know and you're concerned and if your a coeliac yourself dm me on Twitter and I'll let you know.
I'm in no way blaming the hotel I was at as they were extremely overworked on the night from what I heard as the event was beyond full to capacity so it was all hands on deck for them
they have since apologised which I accepted.
I brought along my eating out coeliac card and everything showed it to the waiting staff and mentioned my condition and requirements
but I guess these things happen it was just a shame as it did spoil an otherwise fantastic night as the aftermath was horrific beyond anything I've ever experienced in my life
it was only the 2nd time I was out since being diagnosed too so very disappointing.
I always cook all my own food and since my diagnoses I've never being glutened with my own cooking so again an awful shame
I will be even more wary of eating out now as I was beyond bad I've never in all my life felt as bad as I did I was in severe pain and I was physically crying out in pain I could actually feel and see my stomach was swollen I really did think a few times I was going to die so very frightening I won't go into anymore detail as it was really dreadful and very personal.
But my poor Mother was an absolute rock to me she helped me through it so much I would be seriously lost without her she really took great care of me and made me laugh and held my hand and listened to me and all my worries and I know I worried her terribly which I'm still so so upset about I hated doing that to her and it was all so needless and so well avoided if people took this disease as the very serious one it really is.

But I'm slowly getting on the mend but not yet really 100% I'm still very tired and I don't really have to much energy and I can't go very far or do very much which is so frustrating as I have something absolutely huge I'm working on and I've not really got time to take time off at the moment
But my stomach is still not tip top but I'm definitely healing which is the good news.
It was also my 27th birthday last week but I couldn't really celebrate as I was still not feeling great but I still had a lovely day with my beautiful mother and rock and my loving family who got me a beautiful birthday cake from Antoinettes bakery in Kevin Street Dublin 8 it was so gorgeous I'm really craving it now I have to say the nicest cake I've had since my diagnoses I'll definitely be back for the odd treat.
I highly recommend Antoinettes bakery to anyone as she also caters for people with allergies too and other dietary requirements and it's a gluten free zone so no need to worry about cross contamination.

I really got spoiled though my Mam treated me to some of Kylie Jenner's Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kits
I definitely went a bit mad on the Monday night they went on sale I got Koko K, Dolce K, Posie K and I also got one of the glosses in Literally.
They've not arrived yet but I'm really hoping they will soon as I have the Beauty Blog Awards this Thursday at my ultimate favourite venue Lillies Bordello and I really want to wear one to that I'm really excited to be attending again this year I had a ball last year surrounded by so much talent in one room was really awe inspiring.
I have my outfit sorted I can't tell you just yet who its from but if you stay tuned to The Beauty Chest and the social media pages all will be revealed fingers crossed next month but I'm very excited about it and that's all I'll say for now watch this space.
I just have to sort out my accessories now and I'm sorted so a shopping trip is on the cards hopefully I will feel a lot better by next week.
Although I was not blogging I was eagle eyed at the style at the Met Gala Ball and of course Cannes
I will have a post on all my faves from both events on Monday evening so stay tuned for that there was some stunners and some stinkers to behold lol.

My lipgloss is Nyx Butter Gloss In Peaches And Cream.
My foundation is MAC Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation in NC30
with the Pro Longwear powder on top my favourite and the only one I'll wear on a night out as it doesn't budge.
I'm using sleek face form in fair for my contour and for my blush along with Nyx Contour stick which is another one of my faves.
For my eyes and brows I used Nyx eyeshadow primer in white, followed by I Divine All Night Long eyeshadow palette and the Ultra Mattes V1 Palette, I used a brown shadow from the All Night Long palette for my brows I can't remember the exact shadows on my eyes or brows sorry lol.
I'm wearing Max Factor False Effect Lash Mascara with Kiss Lashes in Sultry which are my ultimate fave lashes.
I'm also using Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner
on my lash and waterline
