The Brits 2014 And After Party My Best And Worst Dressed

Well The Brits were held in London last Wednesday apart from the spectacular show it
was I had my beady eyes on the fashion side of things
So read on again for another of my best and worst

Rosie Huntington Whiteley in Saint Laurent
Wow Rosie looks gorgeous in her black and red zebra print dress I love the little bow belt and the shiny effect on the dress loving the simplicity of her hair and makeup not too much she letting the dress do the talking.
Rita Ora In Prada
Rita’s style would not be always my cup of tea but she looks stunning in this yellow dress I love the jewel embellishments on the straps.
Katy Perry In  Julien MacDonald
I really loved the dress Katy wore on stage to present an award I can see this might not be everybody’s favourite.
But I really love this and Katy is rocking it I love the sliver black and gold embellishments and spikes
and the sliver shoes are gorg.

The Worst

Caroline Flack

Oh my Caroline does love her shorts doesn't she.
she looks like she had a quick fumble and forgot to fix her straps.
Not a good luck Caroline and I'm not raving on the choice of make up or hair
I love her sandals though.
Jessie J
I love Jessie but I did not love this at all especially the lipstick
Daisy Lowe In Saint Laurent
Ah no I hated everything about this it reminded me
of something a saloon girl would wear in the wild west
not a good look it’s kind of trashy.

As there was so many stylish ladies heading to various after parties after The Brits
I couldn't let it pass and not give them a mention

So here is my best and worst from the various after parties these stars attended

My Best
Vogue Williams In Alex Perry
One of our very own fellow Irish ladies Vogue
I can never find fault with her style and this knockout black dress is no exception teamed perfectly with a leather biker jacket and a smoky eye for channelling a rock chic vibe and
I’m loving her hair ( I have seriously style envy with the Chanel handbag just GORGEOUS) This my favourite look.

Katy Perry In Dolce & Gabbanna
Katy made it into my best dressed again. Now I don’t think a lot of people could pull of an
all gold look but Katy is again rocking it here again in this lacy 2 piece
showing off a little bit of tummy in the process and I’m loving the shoes too
Pixie Lott In AQ/AQ
I really love Pixie's outfit she wore to the Univeral after party and I love the little pops of red on her shoes lips and bag

The Worst

Jessie J In Juilen MacDonald
I’m sad she made it in here again I know it her style and good for her if she loves it but sadly
I’m not feeling the love at all
Nicole Scherzinger in fyodor-golan
A cross between an and 80s throwback and a Barbie this all looks to plasticky and cheap
this not a good look nothing schamazing about it lol
Rita Ora In John Rocha
She is in my best and worst in one post lol.
No I hate everything about this I know she is quirky but I hate it all

That's it for my best and worst guys from The Brits red carpet and the after parties.
Please let me know what you think and
who was your best and worst.
I'd love to hear your thoughts

No One Does It Like Batiste

I am a massive fan of dry shampoos
and there is nothing like dry shampoo when you're in a hurry and you don't have
time to wash your hair so you can’t be without a great bottle.

I tried Garnier Ultimate Blends The Revitalising 7 in 1 Dry shampoo
and it was half price in Dunnes so win win it was €3.00
And it promises to

Instantly cleanses
Absorbs grease at the roots
Light weight feel
Leaves hair feeling soft to the touch
Hair easy to detangle
Blissful fragrance
LEAVES NO VISIBLE RESIDUE.

I finally used it today on my 3 day old hair
(But firstly for the record my hair wasn't really greasy it didn't really
need a spray but as I wanted to try it and review it I decided I would anyway.)

So armed with the can and hairbrush in hand I proceeded to try it,
it says on the label to shake well before use and to spray 15cm away
from hair focusing on the roots
And to leave for 2 minutes before styling .

I did everything I was told I gave a couple of sprays all going well
at first until the fragrance
hit me lol I wasn't a major fan of the scent really
overpowering and it didn't smell like a very clean scent it reminded me
of a sickly cheap body spray but I gave it the benefit of the doubt.

I left it two minutes as it recommended it too then I brushed my hair as normal,
and what a major major disappointment
the result absolutely shambolic lol.

I never used a dry shampoo that actually made my hair greasier than before I used it
my hair honestly looked like it hadn't being washed in months
it was completely lank dull and lifeless,
I might as well of sprayed my hair with a cooking oil spray.

So I actually freaked out lol my hair never looked so bad and
I was actually frightened what this might do to my hair if I left it in
So I immediately jumped into the shower to wash my hair and get this mess out
Thank the Lord I decided to use it today when I wasn't in a hurry
and I had actually time to wash my hair,
It would of being a major disaster otherwise lol.

None of what Garnier promises for this product were kept as it did none of it
and I am really disappointed I had to give Garnier Ultimate Blend dry shampoo such a bad review.
I had such high hopes for this and I couldn't wait to try it
as I normally love Garnier I thought it would of being a new favourite of mine but sadly no.
I will not be using it again and
I can safely say you can't beat Batiste an oldie but the definitely
the best dry shampoo on the market.

So I definitely don't recommend this product to anyone at all,
but this just my own personal opinion and experience with the product
if you want to try it please do and let me know how you find it as I'd love to hear your personal views.

I hope you enjoyed reading my review guys
Stay tuned for my Lana Del Rey make up tutorial coming soon.

The Baftas 2014 My Best And Worst

The Baftas were held in London over the weekend
And there was some lovely outfits on display and like always some stinkers ,

So again here is my Best  and Worst from The Baftas.

Angelina Jolie In Saint Laurent
AHHHHH! Angelina I tweeted about this when I saw it I loved it so much
Obviously steering clear of a dressy she opted for a suit and matched her hubby Brad
And my God didn’t she look good unlike Madge Angie can rock a manish suit and still look hot and a super femme fatale thumbs up my dear
Amy Adams In Victoria Beckham
I never hate anything Amy wears I loved her gown at The Golden Globes and this no exception
This a great creation from Victoria Beckham and her hair and make up are immaculate I absolutely love this and I love her little touches of jewellery nothing OTT
Lupita Nyongo In Christian Dior
How gorgeous does Lupita look she looks absolutely stunning in this emerald green flowing  Christian Dior dress and the little gold belt and cuffs makes it extra gorgeous and I’m loving her make up too.

Now for my worst

Maggie Gyllenhaal in Lanvin
This does absolutely nothing for her at all makes her look dowdy and frumpy I don't know who told Maggie this looked good. This might of worked without all the embellishments and if had of being sleeveless.

Alica Vikander in Chanel  ( I don't believe it either)
Oh dear oh dear little bo beep comes to mind here I hate this I don't know what to make of it
it looks like she made the skirt out of a rug very strange.

Well that's it for my worst as I found many I hated but there would be to many to mention lol
So the 3 of my best picks are really the 3 best of the night for me
that's just my little opinion but I would love to hear your thoughts.
What was your best and worst from The Baftas please get in touch and let me know

The Grammy's My Best And Worst Dressed

Hi girls,
well awards season is well and truly in full swing great
for the actors and musician but just as good for us for our dress drooling .
As we all know The Grammy’s where held in LA last weekend

so here is my two cents on my best and worst dressed at this year’s Grammy’s.

Sarah Hyland in Emilio Pucci
Sarah is rocking the monochrome so well here
I love the sparkly bit of the skirt I would wear this myself
and I adore the sparkly clutch .
This my overall favourite outfit this year and
I love her make up soft black liner on the eyes and a red lip
a great look and her hair looks great up .

Anna Kendrick in Azzaro
Ah Anna I love her and I love her dress I love the gems on the bodice and
I love the colour of it and she has just the right
amount of jewellery on to compliment everything.
And I’m glad this looked so well on her as sometimes with people
with pale skin a colour like this would get totally lost on them and
it just wouldn’t work.
But she is rocking all this she looks hot
I love her swept to one side hair and the little dainty clutch
And  her make-up is gorgeous just the right amount .

Beyonce
Oh gosh I really do love this so much especially the fishtail
it’s such a lovely change of pace from black lace (That rhythms lol)
and I love her make-up but I’m not overly mad on her hair though.

Anna Faris in Fitriani
I love this so much I love the colour the earrings and the trail and
the little tucked in pleats detail on the waist.
The only thing I would of maybe gone a little more adventurous
with the make-up and hair.
The nude lip is great but just a little something more with the eyes.

Now for my worst dressed

Madonna in Ralph Lauren
I hate it I hate it all its all wrong and horrible Madonna doesn't
do herself any favours at all.
I know her little son David helped her choose her outfit so
no disrespect to him he looked very cute in his little suit.
Although Mam not so much.

Kaya Jones in Andre Soriano from The Pussycat Dolls
Ah God no this makes me want to cry this looks incredibly trashy and classless
I don’t mean to be mean but no no no.
And if you’re going to wear something like this for heaven’s sake wear
some underwear in failing that wear something to keep your modesty lol.
This looks like something a dom would wear lol

Kacey Musgraves
A monstrosity
it worries me how these girls can get outfits for these major events
so incredibly wrong.
Either sack the stylist asap or buy a better mirror.

Sara Bareilles
This looks like she dipped her dress in glue and stuck cotton balls
on it make and do kind of thing.
I hate this too but I  do like her bag and shoes not with this outfit though.

I hope you enjoyed reading my thoughts girl let me know
what you think what is your best and worst out of these

All opinions expressed here are my own.
