Hair Care Haul L'Oreal Elvive Fibrology Range

Hi Girls ,

I was on my shopping travels on Sunday when I stumbled upon
the brand new range from L’Oreal Elvive it’s called
L’Oreal Elvive Fibrology and it claims to give you thicker hair and if you read my wish list you
will know I have fine hair so anything that can give me thicker hair is my best friend lol
so cue my mad buying frenzy lol.

Luckily for me this new range is on sale at the minute in Dunnes Stores
So I bought everything
Fibrology thickening shampoo, thickening conditioner, thickening masque and
thickness booster.
The only thing I haven’t got yet is the double creation serum as Dunnes didn’t have it but I’ll get it soon.

This new hair care range from L’Oreal as added Filloxane which is proven to increase the diameter
of the hair fibre as it penetrates and expands it and after each wash your hair
will get thicker as the product stays
in your hair days after you have used it so they say anyway.

But the prove will be in the pudding but I really hope the promises are true as I would
love to have thick hair that I could actually do more with.
I started using it Monday and firstly the smell is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G  and its pink on to a winner here already lol
I used the shampoo first obviously as normal then for the first use for
the best results as recommended
I used my masque and thickness booster.

But this is where I have a little gripe quite literally with your masque or conditioner
you are to mix the same amount of the thickness booster equal to the amount
of the masque or conditioner you need
but I’m a little annoyed with this fact though as the tube is so small 30ml
And it will run out quite quick especially if you have quite long hair
it would be fine if you have short hair but if you're like me not so much as I have long hair
So if L’Oreal make a big tube or perhaps but it in a pump bottle for that price it would be great.

And also the mixing process can be a little messy and if you’re clumsy like me
you will spill the booster as it’s a very watery consistence
the bottle is small enough so you don’t want that lol.

So what I recommend you do is mix the amount of conditioner or masque
you need with the equal amount of booster in a separate container
first then work into your hair into the roots and ends use a comb
then to make sure you don’t miss anywhere
then leave it to work for 3 minutes max then rinse and go do what you normally do.

You are recommended to use these twice a week and you can use either
the masque or conditioner with the booster when I use it next I’ll use the conditioner.

As I said earlier in this range they have a double creation serum
I haven’t got this yet so I don’t know how to use it but when I do
I will update you on both counts.

So cutting a long story short and with the only little gripe
I have I really love this new range and I have noticed a slight improvement
in the thickness of my hair which I’m delighted about
my hair is super soft and it feels like it has more body and bounce to it
and my hair feels so fresh and clean
it is now Wednesday and it still feels just washed
and I can still smell the lovely floral fragrance and it’s still got its bounce.

So if this only my first wash with this new range I’m very excited to
try it again and see will it improve anymore.
I am going to try this twice a week for 6 weeks and at the end
I will let you know if it will be as good as
I expect it to me and what L’Oreal are promising
I have everything crossed it will be I want thicker hair lol.

I typed up the pricelist for you girls let me know
if you are using it or if you are starting to
and let me know how you are going with it
Speak soon girls

My Wishlist

Hi Sweethearts,

Here is my wish list of everything that I would love to get my hands on
as I usually want everything pretty and beauty related expect this list
to grow and grow lol .
And if ever I buy something from this list whether I love it or hate it
I will tell you all about it .

Firstly The Clarisonic I have heard nothing but rave reviews about this product
I really want this but at €149 it’s a little out of my price range .

This leaves me with the more affordable No 7 Cleansing Brush from Boots this is more
in my price range for €33 I can definitely see myself owning this ,
I have heard fab reviews about this too more even than the Clarisonic .

Clarisonic Plus
I really really want this it’s a face and body cleanser
I have used many body exfoliators before but I want to see will I be converted to this .
I will have it for sure at €220 this again is steep
for me but I will get it eventually I promised myself lol

MAC Strobe Cream
I really want this as it seems like a multi-product .
Friends of mine used this and they said it
was fab for perking up tired and dull skin and for the always loved dewy finish to your foundation ,
also as a highlighter it’s available in Brown Thomas and BT2 for €32 .50

Polar White Pro Teeth Whitening Glaze
White teeth I love white teeth and anything that can promise me whiter teeth
give it to me please available online at cloud 10 beauty and in Carschelles in Walkinstown
€24.99

Aussie
Aussome Volume Shampoo, Conditioner and Mousse

I love big hair and I always want it but as my hair is naturally very fine
that is very hard for me to get so I want to try this range to see will it give me the holy grail of big hair .
It is available in Boots and Larger Supermarkets .
The shampoo and conditioner is €5.79 and the mousse is €7.69

Batiste Smoothing Condition Mist
I think everyone has used Batiste at one time or another and when I heard
they released a dry conditioner as well I was really excited to try this I’ll be getting this for sure .
Available in Boots for €5.69

Batiste Strength and Shine
My hair lacks oomph sometimes so I'm really eager to try this its
enriched with L-Arganine – an amino acid known to stimulate the hairs follicles .
Maybe this can help me out it is
available in Boots for €5.69

L’Oreal Professionnel Hair Chalk
This comes in 5 different shades Sweet Sixteen Pink, First Date Violet, Blue Ocean Cruise,
Garden Party, Coral Sunset, Bronze Beach, Coffee Break and Black Tie .
I would love to do something different with my hair and I’d love to add a bit of colour ,
but I definitely don't want to dye my hair a pink or blue for a long period of time
so this is perfect for me and people alike who want something a little different temporally anyway .
But this is only available in select salons that stock the L’Oreal Professionnel range for the time being and online and they are
€18 each a bottle

Babylis Curl Secret
This looks really awesome from the ad and I really want to try it to see for myself does it do what it says on the tin
so I will definitely getting my hands on it at some stage .
Its available in Boots and Argos at €159.99

EOS Hand Lotion
I love love love this lip balm it’s by far the best lip balm I’ve ever used
and it’s my favourite
so I’m so eager to try this hand lotion .
The hand lotion and lip balm is available from Cute Cosmetics and Cloud 10 Beauty
The hand lotion is available only on Cute Cosmetics and
its £7 .00 and the lip balm is available in Cloud 10 Beauty for €6.95

Micro Pedi
I used to hate the thought of something like this going near my feet .
But I am warming to the idea and I really want this now I keep saying I will buy this
but I will eventually lol .
The Micro Pedi is available in Boots for €39.99

Wet N Wild Haul

Wet n Wild is Ireland's newest budget make up brand it is only launched here ,
but in the US it has being around since 1979.
This line is like Essence NYC and Catrice
I have being on the lookout for a while now to get my hands on some of these products to see for myself
was it really so good as I have heard from other people reviews so today as I finally spotted it in Dunnes Stores.
I haven't tried any of these yet but I promise I will at the weekend and I will do a full review
when I do,

I picked up to 2 Megaslicks balm stains
One was in E128 Pinky Promise and One in E129 Nudist Colony.
These are priced 3.99 each
and there packaging is quite similar to Clinique Chubby Sticks .

I also got two lipsticks
One is called Mega Last its number E910D in Red Velvet and this was priced at 2.99
I love this gorgeous red shade and it’s similar in colour to one I have from MAC which I sadly lost so
I can't wait to try this.

The other one is called Silk Finish number E549A in Java and this was 1.99
They had loads of other beautiful shades I really wanted but someone thought it would be hilarious to open up all the sealed lipsticks and break them and this was the only colour left intact. Fortunately I love it lol.
The best way I can describe this colour is it is bronze base with an lilac hue.

I also picked up a Nail Polish and this in black and it’s called Black Crème and its number is E424A
and this was 1.99

They also had really lovely eye shadow palettes and face contouring palettes
which is on my list next as they had some really lovely shades.

So a really cheap and cheerful brand but the proof will be in the pudding when I try them at the weekend.

I will let you know where else these are on sale as soon as I find out

Stay tuned on my results

My Golden Globes 2014 Loves Hates and ? Review

Well it’s the start of award season once again in Tinsletown
And apart from the much anticipated awards for all the actors
There is only one thing on us girls minds and that the gowns.
And over the weekend The Golden Globes where held in LA
Starlets where decked out in there finery for this pretentious event.
Like everyone I have my best dressed my worst dressed and ? dressed.
So I have compiled a list of just that for you all.

First off my best dressed at the Golden Globes 2014,
It was sooo hard to choose just 5 of my favourites and it took me ages to settle on these so many beautiful dresses were on display once again this year.

1.      Sofia Vergara in Zac Possen
I am in love with this dress and it hurts me how much, I want it even just to flounce
around the house in lol
Sofia got everything spot on with this beautiful dress.
She kept it classic in black a gorgeous bodice top with
a beautiful full flowing skirt and the little pop of colour with her blue necklace finishes the outfit
of a treat. And her hair and makeup where spot on
Sofia makes this dress Full stop

It’s just beautiful!

Taylor Swift in Carolina Herrena
I absolutely loved Taylor’s gown the contrasting black and hot pink really
compliment her colouring the beautiful skirt is my favourite part I love the trail and the bow affect
at the back. I think her hair really suits her and I love the simple make up she went for.
No complaints with anything here.

Zooey Deschanel in Oscar De La Renta
Zooey looks stunning in this two piece I get a 1920s Great Gastby feel about it and
I love it.  I adore the embellishments on the crop top and the skirt so glitzy and feminine.
The only thing I’m not raving on is the shoes as I probably wouldn’t of went with the gems on the shoes too
I probably would have gone with plain here just too kind of break it up a bit.
She went with a great choice of jewellery too nothing over the top,
And her hair and make-up are flawless I love the little flower.

Emma Roberts In Lanvin

A classic black dress this is such a lovely choice for Emma she looks so elegant
in this beautiful fishtail gown.
And like Sofia she went for a splash of colour with the blue earrings.
An her flat pony is the perfect style as is the classic smoky eye and nude lip all perfect.

Sarah Hyland In Georges Hobieka Couture
Sarah is pretty in pink in her gown it is plain and simple at the front and glitzy at the back
This is one of my faves and her gold clutch is a nice little touch with the overall pink of the outfit.
The only thing I probably would of styled her hair differently.
But I love her less is more make up although I might have went with
a darker pink lipstick and other than that and her hair everything is lovely.

And now for my worst

Heidi Klum In Marchesa

OMG I hated this! The necklace absolutely destroyed this outfit it may have worked
without it and looked better. It is a nice dress but I really don’t think its red carpet worthy,
I was really disappointed in her outfit and not crazy on her hair and make up either.

She normally does better I was surprised.

Sandra Bullock In Prabal Gurung
Ah I’m horribly disappointed in Sandra I love her dresses normally.
But this resembles a bloomin tent to me. I hate it.

Julia Roberts In Dolce & Gabbana
Good grief I don’t know what any of these legendary ladies where thinking Julia
is in my worst dressed this year too.
She is still a beautiful woman and this dress does nothing for her makes her look frumpy
Not a nice choice at all.

Tina Fey In Carolina Herrera
I have no words for this at all for she got this beyond wrong.

Edie Falco in Lanvin

I hate this it does nothing for her at all sack your stylist Edie seriously!

?
This is my in-between list I’m not sure if I love them or I hate them.

Emma Watson In Dior

I hated this to start with but the more I looked at it the more I grew to love it so
Emma has made it to my ? list.

Jennifer Lawrence In Christian Dior
I love Jennifer and I nearly always love what she wears and I really want to love this
But I’m kind of struggling. But she looks cute with her pixie cut.

Leslie Mann In Dolce & Gabanna
I’m middling with this too as I’m really not sure about the peplum as I am quite sick of it

Zoe Saldana In Prabal Gurung
I saw this first I hate it but the more I looked I was feeling more love so now I’m in-between lol

Kaley Cuoco In Rani Zakhem Couture
I do kind of love this and I kind of hate this I think she could of done better so this dress definitely deserves to be here I’m really not sure about this.

Well that is my rundown on my Loves Hates and ? Of The Golden Globes 2014,
And also my first post on The Beauty Chest. I hope you enjoyed reading
I look forward to posting more really soon.

Thanks for reading Sweeties
