DIY 2 Week Manicure Video

Well it is finally here The Beauty Chest’s 1st video I have being working on this for quite a while now trying to make it perfect for you all.
Drumroll please, my first video is on one of my favorite pampering treats a two week manicure
And I love doing them myself too very therapeutic I find lol.
I am using The Red Carpet Manicure Starter Kit in the video this one comes with an LED lamp
which I love as LED is a lot safer and kinder to your hands then the dangerous UV lamps that are on the market.
And if you yourself have one of these kits you will know you only get one shade of the gel color included.
So I am going to show you how to use any non-gel color and brand you like
And still get a beautiful finish 2 week manicure that will do just that.
So get yourself a drink and make yourself comfy and I hope you enjoy

Stay tuned for more videos from The Beauty Chest coming soon and make sure you subscribe to The Beauty Chest on YouTube so you don’t miss a thing

Cartoon Time Take 2

Delighted is the feeling today and only as I was telling you all yesterday
My bag and purse from Jump from Paper finally arrived today
Which I'm also as surprised about as I only ordered it on Monday double bonus.

It’s just has lovely in reality as it was online and I'm very happy with my purchase
The only fault I have with it is the purse as a bit of a fiddly clasp that's not a fan of closing easy lol.
Other than that I have no complaints I absolutely love it
I brought it out on it first outing today and its already turning heads.
I will be definitely investing in one or two more pieces from them soon
Here is some pictures of my lovely cartoony accessories

Hope you love them as much a me

Step by Step Make Up Tutorial: Lana Del Rey Young And Beautiful

Welcome to my very first makeup tutorial,
I decided do mine as a step by step guide as opposed to your
regular video tutorial for the time being anyway
as I feel sometimes you can get a better guide in pictures then you can in video
so anyway back to the matter in hand my tutorial.

For my first make up look I went with Lana Del Rey
I have a major girl crush on her and I love many of her make up looks
particularly from her Young And Beautiful music video,
I’m loving the vintage 1920s Great Gatsby feel and this type of look
I always try and imitate myself from time to time.

So I couldn't wait to try this out and and this is only part one
of my Lana Del Rey looks but more on that later.
With this look I tried to create a look similar to the one
Lana wears in the video and also one you could wear on a night out yourself.
So please read on and enjoy my step by step it was really fun to put together lol.
(For a more detailed look click on the images to enlarge them)

                       Before                                                                            After

Here is a picture of everything I used to create my own interpretation of this look.

List of Products I Used

Max Factor Face Finity All Day Flawless 3 in 1 Foundation

Catrice Cover All Concealer Stick

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

Sleek Face Form in Fair

Sleek i-Divine Eye Shadow in Au Natural Palette

Wet N Wild Color Icon Brow and Eye liner in Charcoal

No 17 Eyeliner Brown

Falsh Lashes From Penneys/Primark

Benefit Mascara They're Real

Wet N Wild Silk Finish Lipstick in Just Garnet

MAC Lip Pencil in Chicory

No 17 Beauty Collection

Brushes are from Penneys/Primark

Step 1:
I applied my concealer on my under eye area and my imperfections I just use my ring finger to apply my concealer I just pat a little on to my imperfections until they disappear.
Then I applied my foundation all over my face using Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
I pumped some product on to the back of my hand to warm it a bit I think by doing this it will blend better into your skin.
You only need a little bit of product on the sponge as a little goes along way for a flawless airbrushed finish.

Step 2:
I started on my eyes next I used the brown shade from my Sleek Au Natural Palette
on my eyelid focusing on my crease and outer corner of my eye it might look messy but doesn't matter as you will be blending anyway.

Start blending outwards with a flat eyeshadow brush I used my brush which is from Penneys

Keep blending until the shadow reaches this shape and intensity.

Step 4
Now I moved on to my next shadow I chose this lovely sparkly one from
my favourite Sleek Au Natural palette ( For the life of me I can't find the name of this shade anywhere the little sheet it came with I lost lol) I sweeped this all over the brown shadow on my lid.
But I avoided bringing this anywhere over my crease and brow bone you don't want any shadow here for this look.

Step 5
I then went on to fill in my brows I hate gel formulas for brows I think you get a better result as they are
more pigmented with a powder. I used the same shadow on my eyebrows as I did on my eyelids
I used the small end of an eyeshadow brush and blended.

Step 6
I lined my top lash line with Wet N Wilds Brow and Eye liner in Charcoal
I created a thin line with a little feline flick for my interpretation of this look.

Step 7
I then applied Benefits They're Real mascara to my top and lower lashes

Step 8
Next I applied some false lashes to make this look more dramatic and more Lana Del Rey esque lol
I got a pack of 5 of these in Penneys for €8.00

Step 9
I then applied some of my No 17 brown liner to my lower lashes and on my waterline
Lana wears brown liner on her lower lashes and a white liner on her waterline.
But I went with brown on both.

Step 10
I then went on to contour my face using my Sleek face form palette I have the fair palette as my skin is naturally quite pale luckily this look is too. I used my flat foundation brush and I contoured under my cheek bones and I also brought the bronzer down my the bridge of my nose.

Step 11
Next thing I highlighted my cupids bow down the bridge of my nose my brow bone and just
a sweep on on top of my cheekbones and on my temples I also added a
little bit of blush to the apples of
my cheeks I used the highlighter and blush that's in the same little kit

Step 12
Next I lined my lips using my MAC Chicory liner to stop the color
I've chosen from bleeding and feathering it always makes your lipstick last longer.
I then applied some lipstick I went with Wet N Wilds Just Garnet as I think it was the closest to
what Lana wears in the video.

There you have it here is my interpretation of Lana Del Rey's make up look from her
Young and Beautiful music video.

I hope you liked it and enjoyed looking at my tutorial
I hope you will try it for yourself.

If you have any suggestions for a look you would like me to do a tutorial of please get in touch with me
via twitter or facebook I'd love to hear from you.

This was just Part 1 of my Lana Del Rey make up tutorials
stay tuned for Part 2 coming up really soon.
